Quick help
- Update to the latest version from the App Store or Play Store.
- Restart the app and ensure your device has a stable internet connection.
- Check your smart device is powered on.
Need help pairing your device?
- Watch our sync tutorial: Video guide for pairing your lamp
- To put your Neuro-sama Lamp into pairing mode, you will need to unplug it, wait 2–3 seconds, then replug it. Repeat this at least 3 times until you see the lamp flash when it starts.
- If done correctly, the lamp will start to flash red to indicate it is in pairing mode. At this point, Swarm Sync should be able to pick it up in the pairing screen.
- App not finding your lamp? The app can sometimes be slow to register paired devices. Go into the Settings panel in the app and enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will reveal additional options - try pressing "Resync Device List" to refresh the connection. We're actively working on updates to improve pairing speed.
- Check your Wi-Fi network: Make sure you're using a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, not 5 GHz. Some users experience pairing issues with 5 GHz networks. All routers that support 5 GHz also support 2.4 GHz.

Wi‑Fi compatibility
- The lamp connects only to 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi networks. 5 GHz networks are not supported, which is standard for most smart lights.
- Most routers that support 5 GHz also broadcast a 2.4 GHz network - use the 2.4 GHz network when connecting the lamp.
